The Beginning and End of Revelation The Book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ, recorded by John, one of His disciples, while he was exiled on the island of Patmos. However, it is written that those who add to or subtract from this book of Revelation cannot enter heaven but receive curses (plagues). Whether one has added to or subtracted from it is something they themselves know. In Revelation 1:1–2, we see that Revelation is what God gave to Jesus to show His servants what must soon take place. After Revelation is all fulfilled It has been about 2,000 years since the Book of Revelation was recorded. No one in the world knew the true meaning of this book. It is recorded that if one adds to or subtracts from Revelation, one cannot enter heaven and will receive curses (plagues) (Rv 22:18-19). Who has not added to or subtracted from this book?
